What’s next? Your LPC Supervision and Internship. Dun. Dun. Dun… But it doesn’t have to be. This is a time to celebrate. Look at all those checks! You’ve made it further than many and you are in the home stretch. Your 3,000 clock hours will happen and before you know it, poof! You will be a fully licensed LPC!
Choosing a supervisor whom you feel comfortable with AND has what it takes to round out your training is critical to your professional development. If you are interested in a supervisor who will teach you how to ethically assess and treat clients while also gaining a better understanding of the business side of the field, we may work well together.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, I assist interns in meeting their professional goals by lending my 14+ years of experience, knowledge, and guidance.
I offer 2 options for interns:
- Onsite LPC supervision: Interns are provided with the required 4 hours of supervision per month as well as a beautiful space to see clients. The office has space for traditional talk therapy and art therapy for work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Cost: $300 per month, due at the beginning of each month.
- Offsite LPC supervision: Interns are provided the required 4 hours of supervision per month while their hours are obtained at another location, such as their place of employment or volunteering. Cost: $300 per month, due at the beginning of each month.
If you are interested in meeting face to face to discuss a working relationship, please call or email me. I would be happy to answer any questions that you have regarding Supervision, Internship hours, Private Practice Counseling, Working at Room for Change, Next Steps, and any other questions you may have.
