Under the supervision of Marvin Bellows, LPC, CRC
My name is Abi and I’m a clinical mental health masters student at Southern Methodist University (SMU). I’m on my way to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and am currently under the supervision of Marvin Bellows, LPC, CRC. I’m a queer and neurodivergent therapist-in-training, specializing in working with queer and neurodivergent folx through a trauma-informed lens. I firmly believe that people are not the problem – the problem is the problem, and people are doing their best to cope with it. Therapy can be a tool to help us cope with things in a more helpful way and to thrive, rather than survive.
I have experience with ADHD and ASD, complex trauma, queer populations, and religious trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, and stress management. If I sound like someone who can be helpful to you – please reach out! I’d love to work with you.
