LPC Associate supervised by Amanda Esquivel, LPC Supervisor
I’m so happy you are here. No matter where you are in life, looking for a little extra help takes courage and self-love. Life can get messy. There are times when we feel uncertain or ill-equipped for events in life or how to cope with the world around us.
I have a passion with working to help people find their inner peace, self-compassion, and lust for life in order to live life joyfully and create and maintain authentic and meaningful connections with others. I find that I can be of best help working with those experiencing disordered eating/recovering from an eating disorder, individuals living with body image concerns, those that are healing from trauma, and individuals who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I offer affirming, honest, and compassionate care while challenging and educating along the way.
I believe that the things we have learned in life, whether from ourselves and our experiences or from others, can begin to no longer serve us anymore. These thoughts and feelings can become stifling and harmful to us being able to love ourselves and others. We can get stuck, we can feel exhausted, we can feel like nobody understands.
I am here to listen with compassion instead of judgement. I am here to work WITH you, never against you. I look forward to meeting you and assisting you in finding peace and joy in life as well as in your relationships with others.
I offer a therapeutic blend of traditional talk therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), mindfulness-based therapy, and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
