Experience and Background:
I view counseling as an opportunity to increase self-awareness and develop tools to have more positive experiences in daily life. I believe it is not life circumstances which produce satisfaction, but our internal reactions and thoughts that interfere with contentment. I work with clients in a variety of life circumstances to assist them in adjusting to the world’s fluid demands. I offer services to aid depression and anxiety disorders, substance abuse and addiction, adjustment disorders, marital and relationships issues, goal-setting, and early adult pressures.
We will accomplish our treatment goals through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, written activities, talk therapy, and motivational interviewing. I am available to see both individuals and couples to best support you in our counseling process.
