Fee Removal Process
Late Cancel and No Show Fees are a necessity in the running of all mental health practices. We understand that unexpected situations arise. However, appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice are subject to a fee because our clinicians have reserved that time and are compensated for it. With a long waiting list, late cancellations and no-shows also prevent other clients from accessing needed care. This policy helps us respect our clinicians’ time, support the sustainability of our practice, and provide fair access to those waiting for services.
Although our informed consent and late cancelation policy addresses it directly, we do understand there are rare, extreme circumstances that need to be considered. When these occur, we look at client attendance history, the nature of the circumstances, any other considerations, and consult wiyh your counselor before making a final decision.
