Camp Haven

Camp Haven, established in 2023, is a groundbreaking initiative that addresses the urgent demand for a nurturing and empowering space for LGBTQ+ youth in Texas. Committed to fostering inclusivity and support, our camp is distinguished by its innovative approach, seamlessly blending traditional camping activities with peer-supported group therapy sessions led by licensed counselors. Dallas Hope Charities

DHC has a residence for youth who find themselves without a steady place to live. The DHC program offers residents an array of services including job training, academic opportunities, medical services, and mental health care through RFC. 3FTL is a comprehensive mental health treatment team providing support, guidance, and accountability for first responders. We exist to save the lives of those who save us. 3FTL.com

RFC is a proud member of the Garland Chamber of Commerce and the North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Chad Hemmeline, our Director of Operations, is currently taking the Leadership Garland class while Brian Kennedy, one of our Licensed Counselors, is currently in the Leadership program with the NTx LGBT Chamber.

Some of the universities we are partnered with for onsite practicum and/or internship : SMU, UNT-D, UTD, TAMU-C, DTS, and Chicago School of Psychology.
